Sansa Fuze 2 - no pause on headphone unplug?

(1/1)

v0lapuk:
I just installed rockbox on my new Sansa Fuze 2 and it's working pretty well (thanks to all the developers!). I've had one issue so far: the "Pause on headphone unplug" option is not available in the Playback Options menu. I tried adding "pause on headphone unplug: pause" manually to the config file, but I'm still not getting it to work. Is this a Fuze-specific hardware issue? (I know this function is also unavailable in the OF, so perhaps it's physically impossible to accomplish this?)

saratoga:
Its definitely not enabled.

Looking at the datasheet for the Fuze v1 CPU, it looks like you can detect if headphones are inserted when the player is muted, but theres no apparent way to detect if headphones are removed.  I don't know if the Fuze v2 hardware added this ability.

funman:
No it didn't change:

--- Quote ---When the headphone amplifier is powered down, one can detect the connection of a headset.

v0lapuk:
*sigh*. This is really annoying. What a terrible oversight! Thanks guys...
