You might consider adding your support to the 'config per directory' thread - which, along with this, would presumably allow you to do exactly that.

If you have ideas of how a feature should work or not work, or your reasons to think it's a good or bad idea haven't been stated yet, by all means post.

However, if you just want to say that you too want this feature, please don't. That just adds noise.
