Freezing while playing (3.5.1 Ipod Video 30GB)

After playing a couple songs rockbox will freeze. The hard drive indicator is lit but if i listen it is not spinning. I'm able to return to the main menu browsing back to play the song again it will show me (root) / (root) for the album title and artist 0:00 / 0:00 for time and say there is (no id3). If i browse through the songs and select a different one it will simply say LOADING and nothing happens forcing me to restart. I'm currently using the terminal theme (not sure if that's the cause). I'll play around with the settings to see if anything changes. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
