Fuze not able to navigate correctly in gameboy games
« on: May 29, 2010, 10:19:28 PM »
I recently downloaded Rockbox for my v1 Fuze and I decided to try out a few Rockboy games like Super Mario Bros, Pokemon Gold, and Sonic 6. When I tried Sonic 6, everything worked fine. I would press select to jump and it was alright, then I tried out Pokemon Gold and everything seemed to work perfectly until I tried moving down.
Whenever I pressed the Down button (submenu) it would go to the options menu to load, save, options, or quit the game. I am not able to move down in any of the games now. Also now in Sonic 6, whenever I press select it pauses.

Is there any way to change the settings to be able to move down in these games? I've looked around but I can't find anything on this topic. I've reinstalled Rockbox but it didn't change anything.
If anyone has any suggestions for me or can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Are you sure you didn't change the button mapping in the menu? The key menu is usually entered on the Fuze by hitting Power, then going to "Options" and "Set Keys (Buggy)"; if you've changed the layout that may explain your problem.
