a) Rockbox doesn't (yet) work on the iPod mini.

b) Rockbox doesn't (yet) have a GUI installer for the iPod.

Developers willing to help make these things happen are more than welcome.

there is an unsupported way of installing the bootloader for ipods.the program has a gui and is extreamly easy to use. the programs called ipod application manager. i have used it at least 7 times and had 0 problems. here is the link for it: http://ipodlinux.org/IPod_Application_Manager or for a direct download go here: http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=8113 have fun! :)after installing the bootloader just copy the rockbox files to ur ipod.  if u need any help email me at shak541@gmail.com

1.  This thread is almost a year old.  The official Rockbox bootloader now supports the mini.

2.  Please follow our posting guidelines and use complete words, not abbreviations like "u" or "ur."
