"On power up" sleep timer patch (FS#10849) - brilliant!

I recently started using this patch which adds an adjustable "auto sleep timer on power up" option. This is something I've always wanted in an mp3 player and which I'd never found until recently. I find it really useful as I use my Clip+ in the car and sometimes forget to turn it off when I turn the engine off - then the next time I come to use it the battery's dead.

Any chance this could be included in the main build?

PS: Thanks for all the hard work on Rockbox - it's an such amazing project and a joy to use on my Clip+.

seems like what you actually want is to use the "car mode" setting which (when it works) pauses the music when it is stopped being powered, then auto shutdown after a few min

Thanks, I didn't know car mode did that - that's a good feature too but I don't power it from the car so it wouldn't work for me.
