Pitch Detector Plugin...Does it work on the Sansa Clip v1?

Hi I'm using a Sansa clip v1 and whenever i try to use the pitch detector plugin, I'm presented with a bar with numbers. Nothing happens when I whistle, make noise, or anything. There seem to be no controls. I've tried every possible button combination but nothing happens. I can only return to the plugin menu. Is the plugin just not yet fully supported for the clip? I'm running version r26296-100526.
