Nano 2nd Generation plugins not present
P:
Recently installed the latest build of Rockbox on my ipod Nano, but whenever I go to the plugins section on it, I'm told there are none there.
In the plugins folder, there is a file called "snake2.levels" and a file called "Sokoban.levels", but they don't seem to do anything.
Rockbox utility declines installation of games files, because my "device lacks a Doom plugin". I added the doom WAD file, but it still gives me that message.
Aren't there plugins for the Nano 2nd gen yet, or did I just get a bad build?

Try a reinstallation...
There is most certainly plugins for the iPod Nano2g. Not sure what would have gone wrong...but something did obviously.
If installing a new build overtop of the old one doesn't work, you might have to back up your config file (if losing your saved settings will bother you a great deal) and install rockbox "clean" (ie. remove the .rockbox folder) but just try installing a new build overtop of the current one first.

Tried both methods. Still nothing.
I am using Rockbox Utility 1.2.6 Revision 25567 for Mac OS X.
Here is what I am doing:
1. Connect ipod
2. Open Rockbox Utility
3. Select ipod
4. Autoselect/manually select ipod Nano (2nd gen) (Unstable)
5. Both options under Quick Start are faded and unusable
6. Go to installation tab
7. Install Bootloader (success/sometimes doesn't remount, but still works)
8. Install Rockbox (sucess, version r26225)
9. Extras tab
10. Install font package without problem
11. Install various themes without problem
12. Attempt to click "Install game files" icon
13. Popup: "Your device doesn't have a Doom Plugin. Aborting."
14. Install following files: ipod:/.rockbox/doom/doomf.wad, ipod:/.rockbox/doom/rockdoom.wad
15. Eject
16. Shut down
17. Reconnect
18. Start up
19. Close Rockbox Utility
20. Reopen Rockbox Utility
21. Attempt to install games again
22. "Your device doesn't have a doom plugin. Aborting"
23. Give up and check plugins
Checking the pugins: Turn on, go to Plugins option on the main menu. Select games. "No files".
Anything blatantly wrong about my procedure?
torne:
You don't need to install the bootloader more than once, or the fonts, or anything else. "Install game files" only installs the doom wads, so whether that works or not has nothing to do with the other games being missing.
Is it just the games that aren't there, or all the plugins? The current builds for nano 2g have all the plugins present in the zipfile.
P:
For convenience, here's the .rockbox folder on the root of my ipod (sans themes and doom.wad):
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E7ZM93Q0
And here's the Rockbox Utility I've been using:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NG6ATEA9
Hopefully they can help explain my problem, and what is and isn't there.
It's that .rockbox folder that gives me the message "no files" when I try to access the Games, Appilcations or Demos menus.
