GoGear SA19xx/37...

dnlgreenwood:
I don't know if anyone is porting rockbox to Philips GoGear SA19xx/37 (or any other SA19xx) mp3 player, but...
Is it possible with the 128x48 black and white LCD with only three lines of text? It's a pretty solid mp3 player (it's casing is aluminum.) What is really annoying the startup time is terrible. It checks if it needs to update it's library every time you turn it on. This would never happen in Rockbox. If I knew how to port Rockbox to it I would. I might, actually.
Here are technical details: http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa1942_37/sa1942_37_pss_aen.pdf
If this helps anyone, I opened mine up and here are some inscriptions that are on the PCB:
W826
SA19XX-6
(not much on it. I didnt have my camera ready when I opened it. Otherwise, I would have taken pictures.)

The Archos Player, the original rockbox target, has a 2x11 character-mode LCD. 128x48 is huge in comparison.

There are a few. See the PluginIndex page in the wiki or check out a manual if you want to check for yourself.
