Gigabeat decides what song I should listen too.

(1/2) > >>

Klips:
I am not kidding. My F60 is not on shuffle, and every time I select a song, my gigabeat decides to play the song two after it.

Example:

Song A
Song B
Song C

If I want to listen to "Song A", I select it. My gigabeat then decides that "Song C" is more to its liking and plays that for me instead. This happens often to say the least, and has resulted in me always trying to select the song two before the one I want to listen too. If I want to listen to a song at the start of an album, then I have to turn on shuffle, and mash the "next track" button. This has let to some frustrating moments.

This brings me to my other problem: I do not know if this is suppose to happen, but when I use shuffle, songs repeat themselves. Usually in the order that follows.

Song A
Song B
Song A
Song C
Song D
Song B

.... ect

So I avoid shuffle because of this problem, and without shuffle, I missing out on the first two tracks of every album I own. Please help me before my brain, or my gigabeat, explode.

gevaerts:
Which rockbox revision are you using, and which theme are you using?

Klips:
Running 3.5.1 .... I think that is the newest one. I just updated it today, and the theam I am currently using is Spartan Black.

gevaerts:
Hm, I was thinking about http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11175, but that one is thought to only apply if the %Vp tag is there, which I don't see in SpartanBlack. Otherwise, the symptoms do seem to match (including the shuffle weirdness)

Maybe it's worth trying with the standard (Cabbiev2) theme anyway.

Problem Solved! Switching did seem to make the problem go away. Much thanks to you my friend.
