sansa fuze charging problem r26074
sss:
You're the expert, I just bumped the thread with a suggestion. While my comment about reversions and regressions can be interpreted negatively, I only meant that as an statement of observation.
Are you reading these threads independently or are you following my posts?

"Fuze: correct usb pid" <-- sounds suspicious to me

While I don't know what the problem is, I can tell you that that's not the cause :) It just changes the ID number used to identify the player to the host PC, it has nothing to do with the software running on the player.
--- Quote ---There's a whole lot of regressions in there, it's like every time a change is posted, it has a 15 percent chance of being reverted later.

What are you basing this on? Sometimes things are reverted, yes, but I'm not seeing the point in engaging in hyperbole. In other posts as well as this one, you are basically implying that developers are not doing a very good job, and this isn't exactly helpful. Development releases are for development; if things are broken temporarily then this is unfortunate, but not an issue that users should be concerned about. Players whose port is not finished cannot be expected to work with any random version of the code you feel like checking out; if it *does* work then good for you, enjoy, but if it doesn't then I don't see what you are achieving by telling everybody we're crap.

"t's like every time a change is posted, it has a 15 percent chance of being reverted later" is not an observation, since its not actually something you observed. Its just whining. If you complain without providing a fix, expect people to tell you to go away.
