Question: No Album Art dispayed in skin
« on: May 14, 2010, 03:58:29 AM »
I've been making a little mod of the BeoBox skin for my Fuze, and I think I've got it almost all to my liking.

The only thing I would like to do that I can't seem to figure out is when the player detects there is no "folder.jpg" or the like, can I make it load a static "No Album Art" image, e.g. wps/BeoBox/NoArt.bmp?

I've read all the stuff in the Manual, and this is my first attempt at even editing a skin, so much of it makes my head spin.

To take a look at my mod how it stands, grab it here (keep in mind I haven't changed the name of any of the files, so if you have BeoBox on your player it'll probably overwrite it with mine). Also keep in mind it's not done yet :P, there are a few things I still need to clean up.

Thanks.

The easiest thing to do is make the background have a placeholder image on it already for "no art" cases where the art would be displayed (this way it can be covered up when there is art present) and remove any conditional viewports related to when there is no album art, making sure to change the conditional viewports for when there is album art to regular viewports.
