Problems with flac?

This worked wonders for me on my 5G iPod with a 240gb drive.

I was having 2-3 second pauses/breaks when playing flac's.

I first tried updating to 3.6, but same problem.

Then I found this, then with the setting for directory cache enabled, a reboot and I am up and running perfectly.  Sounds great!
