Nano 5g
« on: May 12, 2010, 04:40:50 PM »
Hi, I have a Nano 5g, and I'm trying to get the boot loader onto my iPod. I got Rockbox to install properly, but since there is no boot loader I could find that is compatible with the Nano 5g (The one with the camera).

Also, if anyone knows a working Linux program for the Nano 5g, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Where did we (Rockbox) go wrong in leading you to believe there is any way that Rockbox can currently run on the Nano 5G?

I know it can't currently run on the Nano 5g, I was hoping that there would be soon be software so that the iPod Nano 5g could run Rockbox.

Then why were you looking for a bootloader?  ???

P.S. - Whatever version of Rockbox you have installed will not work on the 5G, bootloader or no.

Is there going to be support for the Nano 5G soon? I'm already pretty pissed I couldn't get Linux on it.
