Hi, i just want to ask a question, im getting a new cowon d2+ tommorrw and want to install rockbox. ok i wont no what firmware it has on it untill i get it, but can i take it i can do a manual install ? as ive downloaded the .rockbox already

Or do i have to have the correct rockbox version and bootloader for it to work, also would be good to have a dual bootloader if that is possible so that it can run straight away when turning on the d2+ / not to worried about a dual bootloader but any advice please as i believe from what  ive been reading that rockbox is simpler to install onto a d2+ rather than an ordianry d2 if im correct,

Anyway can anybody point me in the rite direction aswell to what i need to download/links etc and also when will the automatic instalaton be up and running for rockbox for the d2+ as then it would be good to be able to install new flash themes/skins etc from rockbox.org loader..
thankyou all and hope to get some answers soon to the above as then i can be ready to put it on tommorrow when i get my new cowon d2+

All instructions are in the manual: http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-cowond2.pdf

If there is anything specific with the instructions that is giving you a problem then please ask.

Hi readbmr. See here for instructions and links to the patched firmwares/bootloaders you need in order to instal rockbox. Happy listening

Please note that if you use any instructions other than the ones we provide and you have a problem, then we do not support it.  The same applies to random patched files you use.

I thought, as it's considered an unstable port anyway, to link to the most active users
