[iPod nano 2G] Playback via dock
(1/1)
ct:
Hello!
I'm using RockBox on my Nano 2g since November now and I don't want to switch back to original firmware. However, I have a little problem: After the phone jack (left channel remained untouched, right channel is next to unhearable) was hurt after it was connected to a power mixer (maybe the phantom power thingie, or the whole thing was broken; a friend of mine connected his iPod nano 5G also, but here, both channels were killed), the only option to get sound from both channels is to use the dock. However, I only managed to get sound over the dock via original firmware.
Does anyone know how to get the sound through the dock, or how to restore the phone jack without much trouble?
Thanks in advance,
Christian Tanninger

Can you clarify what you mean by "through the dock" ? i.e. exactly what are you connecting your ipod to, and how?

With through the dock I mean, how to configure RockBox to send a signal through the dock, as I haven't managed to do that.
The device I'm using is this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logic3-MIP116W-Universal-Remote-Control/dp/tech-data/B000HDZ9XI/ref=de_a_smtd/277-7988252-4757300
I plug the iPod on the docking station and go with the line-out in my sound system. Works with original firmware but keeps silent with RockBox.
Thanks in advance,
