Rotating the Rockblox view?

Vague Rant:
How difficult would it be to allow Rockblox to be rotated by 90/270 degrees so it displays horizontally? My old phone used to have a tetromino game which displayed like this due to having a screen that was about 2:1; playing vertically just didn't make much sense. There are a number of Rockbox supported players though with similar aspects, but these just run in a standard vertical layout with tiny graphics which make it unnecessarily difficult to play. I have zero coding experience so it's unlikely I'll be the one to add this, but it'd be a nice functionality if it's simple to apply.

The layout is a compile time thing, so you'd have to change builds to rotate the screen.

That said for plugins, they can be written to orient the screen however works best.
