iPod 5g & bluetooth adapter

Hi.
i've got problem with listening music via bluetooth adapter and bluetooth headset. on rockbox adapter don't turning on;
i must sell it or you have a fix for that?

There is limited support for Apple's proprietary accessory protocol.  If it doesn't work then I expect it uses features of the protocol that aren't supported by Rockbox yet.

You could sell it, or just use it during those times when you boot Apple's firmware.  I can't provide any predictions about when or if this hardware will be supported by Rockbox.

There is a setting for accessory power, and one for line out. Try turning one or both of them on.

I don't think Rockbox has drivers for Bluetooth yet. Open source drivers for many serial Bluetooth modules exist, so porting it to Rockbox should be possible. It would, however, take a lot of work.

No iPod* has drivers for Bluetooth.  The accessory itself handles the Bluetooth protocols.  Accessories present a uniform (if not multifaceted) serial interface to the iPod hardware regardless of how they do what they do.




*If we're being pedantic the iPod Touch possibly does.
