Size of Hardrive suddenly reduced?

Hi. I had a previous problem thats now solved here:

But I have a new problem. After formatting my Sansa e280 V2, the hard drive size has suddenly reduced from 8GB to 467MB.

Can anyone help me with this?

Either the disk is broken or you screwed up very badly reformatting it.

Penstro:
Is it possible I could of reformatted in a way that permanently erased 15/16 of the drive?

Edit: something i forgot to mention. Whenever I plug it in as an MSC, a message pops up that says "cannot open OLE"
