Sansa c200 wont boot

(1/1)

thewavgod:
After using Rockbox for awhile now, my Sansa c200 decided not to boot anymore :(
When I power on, it gets stuck showing the ROCKbox art and Boot Ver. 6.0 at the bottom.

If I try to boot to original, holding the left key while turning on, it gets stuck with the screen....
"Rockbox boot loader
Version: 6.0
Sandisk Sansa c200 ser

Also plugging it into my computer does not allow me to "see" it on my computer.

Whats up? any help would be appecialted.

Llorean:
It's hard to help without knowing what all that screen says. It usually contains an error message or code that is helpful.

What I wrote is exactly what the screens are, no error, it just sits on the ROCKbox art and Boot Ver. 6.0 at the bottom.

I am in the similar boat. Recently I some times get a blank screen when starting up or if I press left button while starting, get "Panic" screen.

Is there some trick to restore it? Pulling out battery and re-installing it did not help.

Thanks.

Chronon:
You can find instructions on restoring e200 v1 and c200 v1 Sansas from the SansaFAQ page.  You can get there by following the FAQ link in the sidebar.
