Sansa e200 Flash RAM
AlexP:
I really have no idea. There has never been an option such as you describe.

Haha, great =P time to close this topic down now... Although it would be a great idea to have... Sorry about all this =P There really is no default RAM setting that I can change..? Hmm...
Llorean:
Rockbox uses RAM almost entirely for buffering audio. A relatively small portion of it is used for other things because it simply does not need (and would not benefit) from any more.
Buffering is what we call it when we copy audio off the disk into RAM for it to be used later. It wouldn't make much sense to then copy this back to the disk in the form of virtual memory use. This would actually slow things down significantly. So a setting for this could do nothing but make Rockbox slower and harm users.
Also, there's really not much going on that could be sped up, so maybe you could describe what you mean by making it "faster" to help people understand what you're actually talking about.
redblade8:
I was using it to play a couple games, and listen to music at the same time. It seemed to load everything faster, and even had a faster boot up time... But , if there was no option or anything to change the default RAM, then I am not sure what I did to change anything... =s
karashata:
The only thing I can think of that would possibly do that was boosting the CPU, which isn't really recommended except for debugging purposes as far as I know... It's possible that this is what you were doing.
