Sansa e200 Flash RAM
Llorean:
"Boost" just means going to 80mhz. Being at 80mhz drains your battery faster. Gameboy games will always play at 80mhz, because that's the only situation in which your player is close to being fast enough.
There is no such thing as 80mhz without "boost" since it's just a term for when we set the processor to its faster speed.

OH? That just sounds like a bug to me. When I had my e250 with rockbox on it, the remaining time ALWAYS would change every couple of seconds...so it was ALWAYS accurate ( my one with rockbox on it now doesn't do that...)

How is it a bug? We don't expect people to deliberately decrease their battery life by pointlessly forcing the processor to full speed when it doesn't need to be.

Thats not what I meant =P
lol re-read what I said. I was saying that I used to have rockbox installed on my e250 like 2 years ago, and the remaining time ALWAYS changed every couple of seconds(going up and down in battery time remaining). Now, on my e280, it doesn't change that much anymore...that sounded like a bug to me, since it doesn't give as accurate of battery time remaining anymore...
--kk, that makes sense Llorean...but if I have my processor at 30MHZ, does that mean when I play a gameboy game, it will automatically go to 80MHZ? ( and when it needs to, it will automatically go to 80MHZ? )

Your new battery is probably older now then the one you had 2 years ago.
Regarding gameboy games, look at Llorean's post where he explained that.
