You mean like increasing the processor cache size that rockbox was using? If so, I changed it from around 256MB to 500MB... That might of been it , I am not sure =s

Nope - there is no cache, memory or otherwise that you can change.  Boosting means increasing the processor speed to full - it isn't a setable value.  It is automatic, and either on or off (you can temporarily manually change it through the debug menu).

Ja, ok =P Thankyou for everything!!! Right now I am wondering about a good video converter to make my .flv, .wmv videos into mpg or mpeg 2 so that I can play them ( this doesn't fit into this category, so I put it into plugin / viewers section )

Indeed, but that is on/off - no value setting anywhere.  I think this is destined to remain a mystery )
