I need Assistance.
HanSkywalker:
Hi. I'm incredibly new to rockbox. I'm running it for the first time for windows, on a 4th gen ipod. When i attempted to run the proper bootloader, Even though my iipod was functionally connected to my computer and could be manipulated from it, outside of itunes. the bootloader still claims that it could not find an ipod connected to my computer. How can I fix this so i can actually install teh bootloader and finish connecting rockbox?
soap:
Are you running Windows 2000 or later with administrator privileges?
HanSkywalker:
Vista. i'm the only account on the box, so yes, Its admin, and now i know WHY it won't work, from the the answer to my post in teh other thread. It's a 4th gen Ipod classic 160GB, and Rockbox isn't ported for that apparently.
GodEater:
That's not a 4th Gen then, it's a 6th Gen.
