It looks to me like some of the viewports you're using to display text aren't quite high enough, and you're chopping off the descenders - on the screenshots you've posted, see "Far Away", "Cut Copy", "Next in Dynamic Playlist".

If you upload the new version to the theme site with the same name and e-mail address etc. it should ask you if you want to replace the existing one.

Thanks, updated, still gotta sort the funny clipping at the top, and the menu icon. Unfortunately my Gigabeat is broken :/

You can use a simulator instead.  In fact, testing and debugging themes on a simulator is much faster and easier than on a real device.

Oh I realise that, and do use the simluator - however there isn't much motivation if I don't have a rockboxed device.
