USB Device Not Recognized - That's my Mini!

Hi everybody!
I'm new (1 week) ( :-[) to Rockbox.
Great sound from my first impressions!!!
Now the problem.
I installed at work (Win. XP) R. on my beloved Mini to try the software before installing it on my newly acquired refurbished 5.5gen video.
A few glitches but thanks to the forum I'm fine now......except my laptop at home gives me this STUPID "USB Device Not Recognized" message!!!
What's happening?

A Rockboxed device should present itself as a normal UMS (Universal Mass Storage) device.
