"dice" symbol by the volume?????????

i just recently re-installed rockbox right after restoring my ipod, and now i have a little dice like symbol in the upper left, to the right of the volume bar.

it looks like a square with 2 dots in it.

I reinstalled the same firmware i had before i wiped it clean, and i dont remember seeing this, what is this??

shuffle. hold the select button and a menu will come up. press left to change shuffle
i think im right? im just doing this by heart.....
