track order vs id3 tags vs the FAQ

Hi,

I have my music files sorted in folders per album. I just discovered that, when playing an album by selecting the folder from the file view, songs are played in alphabetical order by filename, instead of by track order derived from id3 tags.

However, when I select an album using the database, this is fine, i.e. songs play in album order.

Am I right in thinking that the following entry in the FAQ is therefore outdated?

Also: Developers! Thank you very much for bringing Rockbox to the sansa e200v2... You're making sandisk's original firmware look very...very bad :)

The database always plays tracks in the order they are displayed in the database. It happens that the default sort order for a specific album in the database is by track number, yes. If you look at a different database view such as the list of all tracks, which is sorted by track name, you will find they play in that order instead :)

So yes, the FAQ is out of date. I fixed it.
