Menu selector jumps to top or bottom of menu.

DSommer:
I have a iPod nano 1G with version 3.5.1 software. I've noticed that if I'm at the top or bottom item of a menu and then scroll in the direction that would take me off of the menu that the selector jumps or wraps around to the opposite end of the menu.
In the original iPod software when you hit the top or bottom of a menu it just stays there and doesn't do the wrap around thing.
It's not that bad on a short menu that you can see on one screen but if the menu is multiple screens long it is very annoying to be placed at the beginning or end of the menu - you lose your frame of reference.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
Llorean:
It's intentional. On a very long list it can take some significant time to get to the end, or you can just go up and be there instantly.
You'll likely get used to it.

You will note also that if you are holding the button to scroll, then it will stop at the top/bottom of the menu and only wrap when you release the button and then press it again. This is a very useful feature.
