Ipod 80gb corruption ?

Hi i have multiple .rockbox folders on my ipod 80gb that I cannot delete the .rockbox folder gets files with names like this "_╟L┘P╚~▒. á" looks like the matrix code lol and cannot be deleted. Could some one tell me why this happens is it something I'm doing or worst case scenario the ipod is going bad.

The filesystem is likely corrupted (have you done something bad to the matrix recently ? :) )

Use a filesystem checker like fsck on linux or chkdsk.exe on windows.
