transfer speed sansa e250 v1 to micro sd

i discovered that transfers to the my micro sd 8GB card through rockbox is pretty slow. is that normal? im wondering if something is wrong with my device or if i just should use a card reader.

Multiplex:
I did check my C240 USB against one of those dinky little card readers and the card reader was faster, I don't remember the ratio though.

I can't remember if I compared the native USB to Rockbox, and I don't have a non HC card any more.

so i guess its not a problem of the player itself. i put the micro sd in a card reader and it still was slow. i guess i should get a different class sd card.
