Ipod Just keeps restarting..

i installed rockbox with a full battery and 3 minutes later it says battery is dead and shuts down and then just reboots over and over..

Can you describe this more fully (at what point does it reboot)?  Can you boot Apple's firmware properly?

it used to run great like from my pc when it was connected I could use the wheel to bring up the volume on my computer now when i connect it. it will automatically go into multimedia mode which I don't like and i put the battery up more to see if it would not say battery was dead but yet when its connected it just reboots over and over and yes i can go back into regular firmware by locking it and starting it

EDIT:when i plug it in it goes straight into multimedia mode then restarts it's self and goes into diskmode -.-
