Sansa Fuze Player keeps reloading it's FirmWare

Alright so, everytime I go to connect my sansa player to the computer... it will just do it's regular settings. Then I disconnect it, and on my Sansa, it basically just... doesn't have the settings I had anymore for ROCKbox. But this is the reason why I have rockbox, the firmware that I have on here. When ever I connect it, it slows down my computer. Which should be impossible it is a rather strong laptop.

Anyhow, I reapply the "fuzea" file. Then everything is fine again, just until I put my mp3 player back on my laptop to transfer files. :/

I would REALLY like this player if I could just use the black and white clicky scroll wheel thing. It reminds me of my dead Creative Zen.

So if someone can shed some light on this issue and get it solved, that would be awesome.

Thanks.

I can't really make out what your problem is.  Could you explain more clearly whats going wrong?

theonciest:
Okay, it's a little hard to explain. But the concept isn't hard I assure you.

I have a Sansa Fuze, and basically you have to put Rockbox and this other filed called Fuzea onto the MP3 player. Then you basically just unplug it, then your firmware installs. (Rockbox)

Everything is fine.

The problem is, when I put the mp3 player back onto the computer. The original firmware reloads itself onto the mp3 player. No more rock box.

Only until I re-do everything...

It's a rather tedious process, but... I'm not really sure how to get it to stay on... forever. lol

Is that how it works?

After you transfer files to the player, do you shut it down?
Rockbox will not reload until the player is restarted.
Also, make sure you transfer the files in MSC mode. (OF>Settings>USB Mode>MSC)

As you asking how to reboot back into rockbox once you use the OF?  Just shutdown the player and it will boot up rockbox.
