Question about the shuffle function

(1/1)

Chaoz:
I just updated to 3.5.1 hoping this problem; I have a Sansa e200. Basically the problem is that my songs that truely shuffle. For example: It will plays tracks in the following order; 3, 5, 2, 9, etc. When I turn off the player and on again, it will play the tracks in that exact same order.

Is there a completely random feature?

Llorean:
If you resume playback, it will resume the playlist as it was last shuffled.

Basically, if you shuffle a deck of cards, put it down, and pick it up again, it's still shuffled.

You need to reshuffle your playlist, either by stopping playback and re-playing it (rather than resuming) or by choosing the reshuffle option.

How do I do this? Under shuffle, there's only yes or no option. Or can I just disable the resume feature?

Edit: Nm, Figured out how to do it.

Why is there no random function  in Rockbox ??

The stock firmware has it,  I used it all the time and miss it.

This really should be added, in my humble opinion.

Llorean:
What's wrong with shuffle?
