Sansa Fuze - Battery Usage Optimization
« on: March 17, 2010, 05:37:44 PM »
sup guys

i just wanted to ask you for some further tips on how to prolong the batter life.

So far i have:

-reduced the brightness to +/- 30%

-turned off clickwheel light

-set "screen light stays on" (i dont remember how exactly is that thing called) on 3 sec

any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

None of the settings are likely to have a significant impact on the Fuze.

No I'm saying none of the things you listed will improve it much.

How long do you NEED it to last?

I am confused by so much discussion about Rockbox battery life. At worst I get 7-8 hours out of it. Which is far more then I need in one day.

Well we'd at least like it to last longer then the sandisk firmware.

I would be happy if it lasted somewhere near OF since the device obviously has such capacity. That's all.
