Fuze cropped screen
« on: March 17, 2010, 05:20:42 PM »
Thanks for all the work on Fuze V1.  So glad to have it on board.

I note that with my Fuze V1, it appears that the top of the screen is cropped by the original case.  I can see the top of the screen, but only when held at an angle.

Is there any way to reposition the screen a little lower?

Thanks!

You could try taking it apart and re-positioning the screen, but that could end up being more trouble than it's worth just to re-position the screen. There's also the possibility that you might not even be able to re-position the screen after you take it apart.

Another solution is that you could always edit a Fuze theme so that the data/images are positioned a few pixels down from the top of the screen.

My Fuze is like this - the top of the case overlaps the screen by 2-3 pixels. That's why I ultimately ended up making my own theme. The theme is BlackSunrise (if you like it enough to use it  :-X ). BlackBoard also works very well for Fuze's that have this problem. retroTape works pretty good as well (the menu cuts it pretty close though).

Yes, your theme works well!  Hopefully other theme makers for the Fuze will consider making top-friendly themes!
