Filesystem corruption after deleting directories?
« on: March 15, 2010, 05:56:18 PM »
Hi all,

I recently do notice problems deleting directories when inside rockbox on my Sansa FUZE V1.  Don't know if it happens on other platforms to, but I'm just wondering if other people out here experience the same issue.  It happens both on the internal uSD (SD08G) as well as on my external uSD (SU16G)

I'm not sure when this issue got started, but as i keep the original zip files downloaded from the 'current build' page for my sansa fuze, i could figure the issue does not exist on r24979-100228.

To get rid of a corrupted filesystem, i use the standard windows XP tools to check and correct filesystem issues.

Any comments are welcomed!

If you have not already, please try a current build as this may have been fixed in build r25203.

Hmm ...  I tried r25207 earlier this evening, and that has severe issues playing mp3's (and maybe other, didn't try ogg or something) - Rockbox only is willing to play some the last file but skips/refuses to play others in a particular album.  Not so on r25141!

So i quickly went back to r24979, but did not check directory deletion.  I'll try that again, and keep you guys informed.
> Ok, i checked directory deletion again, that one indeed seems to be fixed.

Thanks for the quick feedback anyhow!
