He-he, the wording is a bit ambiguous IMO :-) "database.ignore" is the name of the file. The file must be in the directory whose contents is to be ignored during the scan. The contents of the file does not matter, only the fact of its existence does. I.e. it can (but does not necessarily has to) be empty.
