Need to reboot Rockbox in Ipod?
« on: March 13, 2010, 12:03:41 PM »
I've been running Rockbox on a 5th generation video Ipod.  Last week my computer crashed and I needed to reinstall Ubuntu.  I have not yet downloaded the Rockbox utility.  Banshee recognizes my Ipod as a Rockbox device, but since I've plugged in my Ipod, I get the Apple software, but not any of my music.

Do I need to reinstall the firmware? Or will just downloading the utility cause my Ipod to boot in Rockbox again?

Thanks.

UPDATE: I did the obvious thing and rebooted my Ipod.  No problem -- that's the first thing I should have done.
