if I install Rockbox on my iPod all the songs I lose it?

You will be able to use any song that's already playable by the Apple firmware with the exception of songs with DRM. Although most users prefer to use Rockbox for music so that you have a sensible folder structure too.

In addition you can dual boot - you lose nothing.  The manual is well worth a look.
