While Playing Screen HELP!!!

ok i selected a song in the database and it will play at the WPS...then i want to select a different song from the same playlist....it plays the song but it wont go back to the WPS....how do i change the setting to where i select a different song and to make it go to the WPS automatically....help please thx

Where are you selecting the second song from?  File tree, database, or playlist viewer?

playlist viewer....@ the WPS on Ipod 5gen....i hold the little select button for a couple secs....i select playlist...the select view current playlist....and i select a different song....(the setting last time would before my ipod got reset went to the WPS automatically...now it just stays at the view current playlist)

I have an iPod 5G too (always running the latest stable version since November 2009) but I don't remember that the screen ever changed to the WPS after selecting an other song in the current playlist view. I checked all the settings but couldn't find how to change that behaviour. What I do, when I want to go to the WPS after selecting an other song in the current playlist is pressing "Play", so it's just one more button press. But I agree with you, that a setting would be nice to change the screen automatically to the WPS. (Or is there one, that I didn't find?)

Hope that anyone can put more light on that issue.

No, it doesn't go back automatically, as you might want to do more things such as change the order of tracks etc.
