Ipod Nano 2G ogg and database issues

<< < (2/3) > >>

limarus:
I have the same error ;/
Someone already has posted it in Bug Tracker http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11092?project=1&type=2&order=dateopened&sort=desc

Its really annoying bug ;/ Created by some of  yesterday's builds I think.

EDIT
I just have checked newest build and I still got this error. But it's only on few albums- some albums can by played all day, but some songs from antoher album crash RB after 2 sec.

TheSeven:
Can you check if it still happens for the same files, if you do the following:
- duplicate the files on the player
- delete the old ones
That way you force them to be at a different location on the flash.

I really can't see any relationship between different codecs and FTL problems...

Hint: I expect that problem to be caused by r25099, so you might want to switch to a revision before that to overcome it temporarily. You might also want to try iLoader, which should prevent those "use itunes to restore" situations.

Edit: Can you have a look in the System => Debug => View HW info screen and tell me the values from the "NAND" section?
And when have those crashing songs been copied? Before or after you upgraded to post-r25099?

limarus:
Ok no problem ;) Give me 10 minutes(i must instal the newest build because Im using old one to overcome this obstacle ;] ).(Not sure this is grammar correct- Im from Poland so sorry if not)
Btw. I was listening only to MP3's

EDIT

There is something new  :) When I was trying to copy the Mp3 (this which was causing the problem) to my hard drive, RB gave me the same error as before -  FTL: Scheduling ...
Now I must find it on Hard Drive but I think that when It will be at other place(or another sector I don't know) the song will be played normally.

TheSeven:
OK, this confirms that it is actually a problem with the file, not with the codec.
Can you give me those chip IDs from the NAND section?

limarus:
banks: 2
bank 0, id: A585D598
bank 1, id: A585D598
sectors: 1982464
sector size 2048

That is what you want? :)

I don't know if this is changing something but when I was changing build for older(working one) i didn't delete music from IPod and everything was working on the same music files but with older working build.
