WpsRequestList on wiki...

(1/2) > >>

karashata:
So I was randomly going through the wiki looking for information about the fonts (in relation to this thread) and I came across that page in the search results. I'm just curious if anyone even remembered about it, since it looks like many of the requests on that page have since been met.

I'm wondering if it's worth going through that list and identifying which requests still need to be met and which could be considered as having been met, or if the list isn't worth bothering with. Perhaps someone could take a look through it and see if it's worth keeping it up-to-date (it looks like the most recent change was made on 10 Oct. 2006).

soap:
Late reply I know - but I'm all for deleting pages like that.

Besides, feature requests don't belong in the wiki.  ;)

karashata:
I suspect this page was put up well before the Feature Request forum was up, judging by the dates beside some of the list items. However, given that we do have that forum section up now, and that that wiki page is pretty out-of-date now, I suppose deleting it isn't a bad idea.

Llorean:
It's not a feature request forum. It's not for requesting things. It's for mentioning and discussing ideas, but never saying "so will someone please do this for me?" or "can you guys add this?"

karashata:
You're right, sorry, it's a feature ideas forum... Either way, though, feature requests shouldn't really be kept on the wiki anyway, the idea was to have that forum to post the ideas for discussion.

Besides, that page was really out of date, and most, if not all, of those ideas have already been more-or-less implemented anyway.

Feature requests as a whole aren't bad, but people need to be encouraged to post them as an idea to be discussed rather than just post them on a list as "can someone do this please?"

That's all I've got to say...
