It won't damage anything, and should mostly run fine.  Unstable just means that there is some unimplemented functionality, or you might get the odd crash, something like that.

What do you mean by saying"odd crash"? Is there some strange noise  when playing music on?I
just wanna  get better sound quality. ;)

What AlexP means is that on the odd occasion the player may lock up for no apparent reason because the code isn't completely stable yet. Under normal circumstances this probably shouldn't happen but you really never know until it does...

someone suggested me to wait for the stable rockbox version.I wonder :-* when it can come.Maybe I can't wait that long.....If I installed this version and later here comes a better one,will it be easy for me to update the rockbox?

Yes, it's very easy to update Rockbox. Just download the zip file again whenever you want to update and extract it into the root of your player.
