So you get about 10.5 hours (not the 6 you said before).  Given that the wiki says most people seem to get about 12, with a not brand new battery that doesn't seem too bad.

Also, that 10.5 is from starting not entirely full (but near).

yeah i know, but i swear that previously i got 6 hours at most, i really think that maybe some of the themes may consume more battery than others. anyway, 10 hours seem very reasonable so i think i will stick with rockbox for a while, it's too gold to let it go away ;) I hope nothing unwanted will happen.

And for that sake, the battery is 3 months old

Your player shows the same performance than others, so everything is fine.

We know battery life of rockbox is shorter than OF but we're working on it, perhaps it will be better in next release?
