undefined instruction? need help w/ipod video

okay so before i replaced my logic board in my ipod and rock box seemed to working fine but when i replaced it something strange have been happening to my ipod. When i play a certain song (in flac only it seems) it will play the song just fine but then it will freeze and says, "undefined instruction at 03E80E44 (0)" and just recently "data abort at 40005CE4".  It seems to play other songs that aren't in flac format (Mp3, WMA )I don't understand why it does this and if you can help let me know.

Are you using a 64mb build? If so, try the regular (32mb) build

i feel kind of stupid asking but where do i get the 32mb build? i looked a little on the website and no luck so far and couldn't see it on rock box utility

thank you so much!! i thought i would have to resort to using itunes software and reformat all my flac files! i really appreciate you helping me. i have one other question thats not related to this at all why does the ipod sometimes go to older firmware i put on it? its not really a problem because you can restart it and it goes back to rockbox

As is mentioned in the manual, Apple's firmware will be launched if the hold switch is engaged during boot.  This will also happen if the Menu button is held during boot (at least this used to be the behavior of the bootloader and I'm not aware of changes since then).

Hi there,
I was also having the same problem.  However, your link to the other file worked and I was able to get my iPod working on Rockbox.  The problem I'm having is that WAV files don't play anymore (FLAC, MP3 no problems).

There were some wav updates a week or two ago that seem to be causing some issues (e.g. http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11077).  It is possible that this is another one.

Could you start another thread for the wav issue?
