iPod Radio Remote doesn´t work

Hello everybody,

first of all: Thank you for developing Rockbox! I Love It!

But if got a little problem with the ipod radio remote.
If I plug it into my iPod 5.5g 80GB the icon for the radio is only shown sometimes.
So listening to the radio isn´t possible.
There is no problem in when using the original firmware, so it seems to be a bug?!

Can someone help me?

The IpodAccessories page lists this device as working with no additional notes.  Probably the best thing to do is update the IpodAccessories page and report this in FS#9951, which is a catch-all task for reporting problems with iPod accessories.

Actually there is two things that could happen:

if you turn on your ipod with the remote, it's not detected. You have to unplug and plug again the remote to get it detected. A nice thing, for all accessories, would be that the accessory supply is turned off then on at the end of the boot up  process. It should be part of FS10623.

The second thing is the radio icon doesn't appear in the main menu if you are in it when you plug in your remote; you'll have to go in an another menu then go back in order to refresh the main screen.

Hope the accessory supply will fixed the way you described it.
