iRiver H120 hangs on logo screen

I have an H120 that hangs up at the logo screen. It seem to me that it's waiting for something that it doesn't receive and stays there forever.

Is there anyone who has a flow chart or something of the initialization process of the original iriver firmware? This might help me identify a possible faulty component. Maybe a disassembler for the firmware?

I understand it might be bricked, but then it wouldn't start at all, right?
