No partition found error ipod 4g
« on: February 18, 2010, 04:25:20 PM »
After updating an older version of rockbox with the latest version i receive an error: no partition found. Hold menu+select to reboot then select+play for disk mode.

When I follow these instructions the ipod shows the text do not disconnect for a few moment,  then it says directly OK to disconnect, or comes up with the same error as above.

The screen that says "OK to disconnect" is the built-in disk mode. Connect it to a PC and it should appear as a disk, and you can investigate what is wrong.
