frozen Ipod with data abort message
« on: February 12, 2010, 06:15:01 PM »
Hello again. After successfully installing rockbox in my Ipod 80 GB Video I rebuilt the database . It completed the task. Asked to re-boot  and there is this message
Data abort
at 0005821c  (0)
The only way I have learned to reboot is by draining the battery and plug it back in with hold switch  ( I have a defective select button ...it won't "hold" when pressed) Any other thing I could do? Could it be that I had too many files thrown into the disk drive regardless of the type of files that were inside . I read in the manual that one can make the database builder "skip" unwanted directories.
Thanks
